Ask Linda #1803-Hole out after putt conceded

Hi Linda,
I think I know the answer but cannot find the rule to support it. Four-ball match play, and the hole is conceded by players A/B. Player C is lying 8 feet from the cup and wants to putt out for score, rather than taking most likely score. She is told by player A that she can’t putt out. Not true right??? What is the rule that supports this? Can’t find it under Practice, or under Match Play. Any help you can provide is great!
Thanks
Lulu from Travelers Rest, South Carolina

Dear Lulu,

There is no Rule that prohibits a player from putting out after a hole is conceded [Decision 2-4/6].
