Dear readers,
Happy New Year! I wish you all good health and low scores in
2018, the last year before the major overhaul of the Rules of Golf will go into
effect.
I am not going to address the numerous changes planned for
2019 until the end of this year, or perhaps the beginning of next year. The
Rules are confusing enough without learning two sets simultaneously.
Rest assured that I will study the changes as soon as the
new rulebook is made available, and that I will walk you through them as best I
can. It will be a challenge and an adventure for all of us.
My columns will resume tomorrow.
