Can you take a stance within a hazard after taking a drop
out of said hazard? Is it like cart path relief, where you must take full
relief?

Dear Lulu,
You may take your stance in the hazard after you take relief
from the hazard.
None of the relief options for a ball in a water hazard
mention “nearest point of relief" (NPR). NPR requires complete relief;
hazard relief does not. Therefore, you may stand in the hazard, but not on a
cart path. A cart path is an immovable obstruction, which requires complete
relief.
