Question, please Linda.
We are in the midst of our Club Championship, medal play, no
handicap. At the end of the round several of the ladies that were posting
included their equitable strokes on necessary holes and then posted the
tournament with a T.
One of the Pros explained to the ladies that when you are
posting T-scores that you must post the full score only. Many of us had never
heard this before, as our usual practice is to post with equitable strokes at
all times.

All scores are
subject to Equitable Stroke Control when they are posted. Please direct your
pro to The USGA Handicap System,
Section 4-3: “All scores for handicap purposes, including tournament scores, are subject to the application of
Equitable Stroke Control (ESC).”
I am delighted to hear that the ladies are posting
correctly. I am dismayed to learn that your pro is advising you incorrectly.
