I received this question from a friend. I do not think he
can post his score. Am I correct?
Here's the text:
Just played golf by myself. Played 3 balls every hole. Kept
accurate score on first ball. I am not allowed to post because I played 3
balls. Correct?

Dear Lou,
You are correct. A player may not post a score when he plays
more than one ball throughout the round [USGA
Handicap System, 5-1a/5]. Scores that are not made in accordance with the
Rules of Golf may not be posted. Playing more than one ball on a hole would be
a violation of Rule 7-2, which prohibits players from making a practice stroke
during play of a hole.
